The Pneupac^® Respiratory Ventilator is a pneumatically powered and controlled respiratory ventilator designed for short- or long-term ventilation.

The pop-off occlusion valve helps to prevent an accidental pneumothorax due to leaving the pop-off valve closed. By simply depressing a button on top, the valve temporarily blocks the gas flow so that a breath may be given to the patient. Upon release, the valve opens and no adjustment of the pop-off valve is required.

The Pop-Off Valve allows a breathing bag to remain passively full, which allows you to give the patient a manual breath without having to flush the system. The valve will interface with a properly adjusted active waste gas evacuation system.

Each catheter is designed with quality grade nylon. This allows for flexibility without rigidity for ease of insertion with minimal irritation.

Over inflation of the endotracheal tube cuff is a common occurrence in many veterinary practices. An over-inflated cuff can lead to localized areas of ischemia and possible pressure necrosis of the delicate tracheal tissue. Proper cuff inflation to the recommended 20-30 cm H2O safeguards against excess pressure accumulation guarding against injury and improving patient outcomes.
