Gripper Micro^® Safety Needle, Online Training Course

Course Description

This 45-minute course provides users with step-by-step instructions on the correct use of the Gripper Micro safety needle. The course includes a video and a knowledge test.

Please note that this is just one component of training. Additional hands-on training may be required prior to patient use. Please refer to the instructions for use and/or the operator’s manual for complete instructions, cautions and warnings.

Objectives

Upon completion of this course, the participant will be able to:

• Discuss proper use and function of the Gripper Micro safety needle
• Demonstrate proper finger placement for successful portal access
• Identify when blood drawback can be obtained after portal access with the Gripper Micro safety needle
