  • JehanZeb Noor

    Chief Executive Officer

    JehanZeb joined Smiths Medical in July 2019 as Chief Executive Officer, a £874M ($1.2B) division of Smiths Group, plc, that manufacturers specialty medical devices for the world’s healthcare markets. He also serves as a member of Smiths Group’s Executive Committee. JehanZeb has intimate understanding of the medical device industry including supply chain, operations, distribution, product development and regulatory approval processes. He also has a strong track record of effective leadership, delivering growth and enhanced performance.

    Before joining Smiths Medical, JehanZeb worked at Amcor Flexible, Inc. where he led the Healthcare North America business and Global Medical Sales, serving device companies as their sterile packaging provider. During his three-year tenure at Amcor he drove a significant improvement in margin and revenue growth, and led the integration of a major acquisition. Prior to that, JehanZeb was a Partner at McKinsey & Company, where he served for 9 years. He gained a deep understanding of business transformations and cultural change across sales, operations, product development, R&D and strategy.

    JehanZeb holds a BSc in Finance and a BSc and MSc in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

  • Nigel Bark

    Vice President & General Manager, EMEA Region

    Nigel Bark joined Smiths Medical in April 2016 and currently serves as the Vice President and General Manager for the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) Region.

    Nigel’s Med Tech background includes both blue chip corporate organisations and privately funded entrepreneurial companies. His multi-functional knowledge and experience covers direct and distributor sales management, international marketing, manufacturing operations, supply chain, and strategy development and execution, including acquisitions and divestitures.

    Prior to Smiths Medical, Nigel served as Vice President & General Manager at Teleflex, where he led the global Vidacare business integration following the acquisition in 2013. He also held positions of increasing responsibility during a 12-year period commencing with Alaris Medical Systems, acquired by Cardinal Health, which developed into the spin off company CareFusion. Nigel’s early Med Tech career also included 8 years at Johnson & Johnson.

    Nigel graduated in Mechanical Engineering from the University of West England, Bristol.

  • Gary Barrett 

    Vice President, Global Regulatory, Compliance & Quality Systems

    Gary Barrett joined Smiths Medical in April 2018. In his role, Gary is responsible for leading the Global Regulatory, Compliance and Quality Systems teams.

    Gary brings with him more than 20 years of experience in the medical device industry. Prior to Smiths Medical, Gary served as the Senior Vice President of Quality and Regulatory Affairs at Angiodynamics where he was responsible for all aspects of quality and regulatory compliance. Gary also served as the Vice President of Regulatory Affairs at Merit Medical where he led global regulatory submissions and compliance.

    Gary attended the University of Liverpool for his undergraduate degree. He received his Master’s in Ecological Management, certificate in Analytical Chemistry and PhD in Biotechnology from Cranfield University in the UK. Gary holds publications and patents in biosensor technology as well as microarray technology.

  • Abby Holaschutz

    Vice President, Global Procurement

    Abby Holaschutz joined Smiths Medical in September 2019 as Vice President, Global Procurement.

    Abby leads a global organization to source $500M of materials, goods and services ensuring world class quality, innovation, delivery and value.

    Prior to joining Smiths Medical, Abby was a consultant at McKinsey & Co. where he led large scale sourcing transformations across North America, Europe and Asia. Prior to McKinsey, Abby gained operations experience at Toyota, Disney and Care Fusion.

    Abby holds a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas.

  • John Kowalczyk

    Senior Vice President of North America Sales & General Manager, Latin America

    John joined Smiths Medical in January 2019 and currently serves as Senior Vice President of North America Sales & General Manager for Latin America.

    Prior to Smiths Medical, John served as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Electromed Inc. Before joining Electromed Inc. in 2016, John served as President of dorsaVi USA, where he led the company’s commercialization of operation and expansion into the U.S. market. John also spent more than 19 years at Medtronic, where he held positions of increasing responsibility and was recognized for excellence in performance, leadership and team development.

    John is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin – Madison.

  • Albert Lim

    Senior Vice President & General Manager, Asia Pacific Region

    Albert Lim joined Smiths Medical in January 2020 and currently serves as the Senior Vice President and General Manager for the Asia Pacific (APAC) Region.

    Albert has led businesses across diagnostics, pharmaceuticals and medical devices – giving him broad exposure to various business models and go-to-market strategies in emerging economies. He speaks fluent English, Mandarin Chinese, Cantonese, Taiwanese and some Indonesian.

    Prior to Smiths Medical, Albert served as CEO for Menarini APAC, where he was responsible for the commercial business focusing on pharmaceutical and consumer healthcare products. Albert also held leadership positions at Sonova, Medtronic, Novartis Pharmaceuticals, Merck Sharp & Dohme, and Abbott Laboratories.

    Albert holds of Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical Engineering) from the National University of Singapore.

  • Greg McGrath

    Vice President, Global Operations

    Greg McGrath joined Smiths Medical in June 2017 as Vice President, International Operations and was promoted to Vice President, Global Operations in April 2019.

    Greg has worked in operational and manufacturing leadership roles for over 20 years. He has experience leading large, global & multi-site operations teams, driving continuous improvement in KPI’s, and applying Lean and Good Manufacturing Practice principles within his organizations.

    Prior to joining Smiths Medical, Greg served as Global Operations Director for Mayborn Group, an executive appointment, which involved business transformation and successful operational turnaround. He has also held key leadership roles at Bausch and Lomb and Phillips Avent, and various operational & engineering roles with Mitsubishi Chemical, NEC and Seagate.

    Greg holds an Executive Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Kemmy Business School, University of Limerick.

  • Joel Williams

    Senior Vice President & General Manager, Americas Region

    Joel Williams joined Smiths Medical in October 2019 as Senior Vice President & General Manager for the Americas Region.

    Joel has worked and lived in three continents and held various leadership position in business management, sales, operations, finance and technology development at companies such as Dow Chemical, Intel, Bray International and a Google-funded startup.

    Prior to Smiths Medical, Joel worked at Avantor where he led a platform of businesses including implantable materials and devices, semiconductor focused electronic materials, and high-purity silicones for advanced technology applications.

    Joel holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Brigham Young University, a master’s degree in Materials Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Master of Business Administration degree from Harvard Business School.
