Can you share more about your career path at Smiths Medical?

I started as an R&D Intern in 2019, while writing my PhD Thesis. During my internship I worked on both NPI (product development) and Sustaining projects. I attained a deeper understanding of our portfolio of products, our systems and the critical role of R&D on both existing and new products. I received the opportunity to interact and work in collaboration cross functionally which helped enhance my communication and multi-disciplinary teamwork skills. After completing my doctorate, I was offered an Engineer II position on the NPI Functional Engineering team and I have been in the role for just over six months now.
