STEM Outreach Committee

The mission of the STEM Outreach Committee is to perform activities that inspire the next generation's interest in science, technology, engineering and mathematics through the use of Smiths Medical technologies while engaging employees' passion for science and engineering. 

Women's Leadership Network

Smiths Medical established the Women's Leadership Network (WLN) in 2011 to develop strategies, plans and programs that will attract, develop and retain high performing women to drive company goals. The charter of the WLN is to increase the representation of women in leadership to drive a high performing company by influencing through our 5 pillars of success: ATTRACT, RETAIN, DEVELOPMENT, ENGAGE and COMMIT.

Today, the WLN is a global network with regional chapters around the world inclusive of leaders from across the organization. The WLN is made up of both tenured and aspiring leaders sponsoring unconscious bias training, mentoring and other initiatives to ensure a balanced pipeline of women at all levels of the organization.
