CADD^™-Solis VIP Medication Safety Software for the CADD^®-Solis VIP Pump

Course Description

This course provides an introduction to the CADD-Solis medication safety software – Administrator Rev. 2 application for use with the CADD®-Solis VIP ambulatory infusion pump. The course includes a self-paced video module and a knowledge test.

Participants are provided with step-by-step instructions to create a protocol library and customize settings for the CADD-Solis VIP ambulatory infusion pump. Terminology associated with the software is defined and discussed.

Please note that this is just one component of training. Additional hands-on training may be required prior to patient use. Please refer to the instructions for use and/or the operator’s manual for complete instructions, cautions and warnings.

Objectives

Upon completion of this course, the participant will be able to:

• Develop a protocol library for a CADD-Solis VIP ambulatory infusion pump
• Send a single protocol or a protocol library to the CADD-Solis VIP ambulatory infusion pump
• View log and pump report
