CADD^™-Solis Medication Safety Software - Administrator 3.1, Online Training Course

Course Description

This course provides an introduction to the CADD-Solis medication safety software – Administrator application for use with the CADD-Solis v3 ambulatory infusion pump. The course includes a training video and knowledge test.

Participants are provided with step-by-step instructions on how to create a protocol library and customize settings for the CADD-Solis v3 ambulatory infusion pump. Terminology associated with the software is defined and discussed.

This course includes occasional references to the CADD-Solis medication safety software – Point of Care (POC) program. This is a separate application that will not be covered in this webinar.

Please note that this is just one component of training. Additional hands-on training may be required prior to patient use. Please refer to the instructions for use and/or the operator’s manual for complete instructions, cautions and warnings.

Objectives

Upon completion of this course, the participant will be able to:

• Describe how the CADD-Solis medication safety software is used to customize the CADD®-Solis ambulatory infusion pump
• Demonstrate building TQD protocols using standardized orders from their facility
• Identify the tools available to assist with building a protocol library
