Course Description

This course provides users with step-by-step instructions on the correct use of the Acuvance safety IV catheter. The course includes a video and a knowledge test.

Please note that this is just one component of training. Additional hands-on training may be required prior to patient use. Please refer to the instructions for use and/or the operator’s manual for complete instructions, cautions and warnings.

Objectives

Upon completion of this course, the participant will be able to:

• Demonstrate proper use and function of the Acuvance safety IV catheter
• Discuss the advantages of Acuvance passive safety
