Clinicians and healthcare professionals know what type of products they need for effective and safe medical procedures. This is why currently over 90% of our new product ideas come from our customers. Without their ideas, our portfolio would not have made some of its recent advances.

What are we interested in producing and marketing?
Smiths Medical offers market-leading solutions in the following major areas: Anaesthesia and Safety Devices; Medication Delivery and Patient Monitoring.  

These cover everything from airway management, pain management, safety devices, temperature management, diabetes, infusion, vascular access, assisted reproduction and patient monitoring.

Many of the products within our extensive range can also be applied to the military, industrial and veterinary fields.

Would we be interested in your idea?
Very few new products ideas are revolutionary, but simply an improvement or an additional size or type of an existing product. Evolutionary products are just as important, if not more so than the rare revolutionary product concept.

What would Smiths Medical do?
Smiths Medical would evaluate the potential for development of your idea. This process could take several months.

Prior to submitting your idea, please contact our Clinical Research Manager, you will then receive a Non-Confidential Disclosure Agreement.
