New Portex single use Silicone Laryngeal Mask

Smiths Medical is pleased to announce the launch of the New single use Portex Laryngeal Mask as part of the airway portfolio.

The new Portex® Silicone Laryngeal mask provides the performance of silicone with the benefits of single use. The existing Portex® PVC Laryngeal Mask (PSSLM) will be sold as a cost effective alternative to the new Silicone Laryngeal Mask.

The new Portex UniPerc™ range was developed in response to the clinical feedback that our current offering of tracheostomy tubes are not always appropriate for patients with unusual anatomy or large necks.

In addition, taking into consideration current obesity statistics, we have identified a need for a longer length tube.
