In August 2008, Smiths Medical were proud to exhibit at the World Congress of Pain in Glasgow, Scotland.

Key products under the Portex® and CADD® brands were exhibited at the meeting, providing Smiths Medical with an excellent opportunity to communicate their full breadth of pain management products to an international audience.

The World Congress provided the ideal platform for Smiths Medical to show case their new CADD-Solis® Pain Management pump.

CADD-Solis® is specifically designed to meet the ever evolving clinical requirements in pain management. With its advanced medication error software package, and intuitive programming, the CADD-Solis® generated significant interest from the 5,000 international delegates.

Supporting CADD-Solis®, other key products exhibited on the Smiths Medical stand included the Portex® brand of regional anaesthesia systems including the Tracer III nerve stimulator and plexus needles, epidural, and combined spinal epidural kits.

In addition, the CADD® MS3 pump proved a popular exhibit item for micro infusions of pain medication.

The congress proved a great success for Smiths Medical, achieving a high level of interest in the CADD-Solis® pump, and promoting strong brand awareness amongst this important target customer group.
