John Hughes, Company Director of Advanced Therapeutics UK Ltd, has over 20 years experience in the diabetes industry, having been involved in the set up of Lifescan in the UK and in addition having worked for such organisations as Abbott Laboratories (Medisense blood glucose monitoring) and Novo Nordisk. John was also involved in the earliest insulin infusion delivery systems and established Disetronic Medical Systems Ltd in the UK in 1999.
