RE: Information Regarding the CoZmonitor® Blood Glucose Module

Dear Customer:

As you recall, Smiths Medical recently announced its decision to discontinue manufacturing and selling the the Deltec Cozmo® Insulin Pump (including the CoZmonitor® Blood Glucose Module) effective March 25, 2009.  We remain committed to excellent customer service and will continue to provide ongoing support for the remainder of your current pump warranty. Of course, we will also continue to support the CoZmonitor® Blood Glucose Module for the duration of the warranty period.  

The CoZmonitor® Blood Glucose Module is powered by FreeStyle® technology from Abbott Diabetes Care (ADC). ADC will continue to provide FreeStyle® test strips for the CoZmonitor® Module.  For questions regarding the CoZmonitor® Module, please continue to contact CozMore Clinical Services, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, toll-free at 1-800-826-9703.
