• Using Omnifuse and Omnifuse PCA with Drug Protocols:
• Simplifies the programming of the pump at the bedside.
• Up to 50 drug protocols may be stored in the pump.
• May help to reduce pump programming errors.
• Create your Own Drug Protocols:
• In accordance with drug prescribing instructions.
• Infusion parameters can be 'variable' - i.e. the parameter values are user-adjustable within specified limits allowing, for example, the flexibility to titrate to effect.
• Infusion parameters can be 'fixed' - i.e. the parameter values are determined when the protocol is created allowing maximum control.
• Manage Bespoke Drug Protocol Libraries:
• Drug protocol libraries can be tailored to different wards within the hospital, reflecting their own particular requirements.
• The drug protocol libraries are managed using the Omnifuse Drug Protocol Management System on a PC (MS Windows®).
• The Omnifuse Drug Protocol Management System is also used to send the drug protocol library to the Omnifuse.
