Suction Alert

The Suction Alert system is an innovation in effective secretion management.

Suction Alert detects the presence of secretions in a patient’s airway and alerts the clinician to suction the patient, therefore allowing suctioning to be performed before the patient’s condition may deteriorate.

The trauma of suctioning is often remembered by the patient – so wouldn’t you welcome a device which would help you avoid unnecessary suctioning?

Product Features

• Suction Alert Care Sensor detects when secretions are present and filters out surrounding noise
• An audio visual signal will indicate the presence of secretions
• Stereo headphones enable the clinician to clearly hear secretion sounds to confirm the need for suctioning
• A small acoustic sensor T piece fits neatly between the breathing circuit, the tracheal or tracheostomy tube and closed suction system
• The T piece has an integrated lead which attaches to the re-useable monitor
• The T piece can be used for 72 hours
