The Spirotel™ is a handheld telemedicine spirometer designed for patient use that has simple user-friendly controls and menus. The Spirotel™ programmable clinical assessment menu lets the clinician program user questions for symptom assessment.

The Spirotel has simple test quality control and automatic test interpretation features. The oximetry option allows users to perform six-minute walk evaluations, overnight sleep screenings, and real time oximetry readings. Test results can be transmitted by acoustic transmission via land or cell phone, or sent via Internet or PC modem.
