The extra vertical length tracheostomy tube with double cuff allows for alternating inflation and deflation of the cuffs to reduce the risk of tracheal trauma. The Blue Line® extra vertical length tracheostomy tube features two independently inflatable cuffs.

Extra vertical length tubes are often indicated for tracheal problems such as fistulas, stenosis, and tracheal malacia. Available in four adult sizes, this tube features two independently inflatable cuffs.

Greater flexibility in providing airway protection is possible since cuff sites can be alternated, when appropriate, or both cuffs can be inflated if necessary.
