The Percutaneous Tracheostomy Kit using the widely accepted Seldinger guidewire technique and incorporating the unique “Guidewire Dilating Forceps”. It can be performed at the bedside, avoiding the risks associated with moving the patient to the operating room.

• Blue Line Ultra® Suctionaid tube features an integral suction lumen to aid removal of secretions from above the cuff
• Immediate. Minimal delay. Convenience for both clinician and patient
• Cost effective. Avoids Theatre costs
• Unique forceps design allows single step dilation. No need for repeated insertions, minimising trauma. One instrument for a wide range of adult sizes
• Guidewire remains in-situ throughout the procedure to maintain safety
• Full procedure pack (excluding drapes) for convenience and to avoid delays
• Blue Line Ultra® Suctionaid tube features a tapered tip to ease passage into stoma, plus clear, soft flange and Profile Soft Seal cuff
• Reusable Guidewire Dilating Forceps.
• Kits are available with or without Guidewire Dilating Forceps. Added flexibility and economy
• Allows connection to breathing system or a Heat & Moisture Exchanger, Thermovent T (100/570)
