In my first position with Smiths Medical, as product manager for Graseby Medical Ltd, I was responsible for the marketing activities of various products in the UK and around the world. The Smiths reputation in the areas of airway and pain-management products is what attracted me to the company. I wanted to be part of a team that provided products and solutions that truly made a positive difference to the healthcare worker and the patient.

The reasons I’ve stayed include, first and foremost, my colleagues. During my five years with the company, I’ve had the advantage of meeting employees from across the globe, and was impressed by the support they provided, the passion they shared in providing what was right for the healthcare worker and the patient, and the drive to ensure that we could provide even better products. We all truly care in providing the best for the patients. And the products and solutions we provide give the patients the best possible outcomes.

When I hear, for example, about how a patient’s life has been saved by a Level1® Fast Flow Fluid Warmer, or how a patient’s life has been improved with a CADD® or Graseby pump, it makes me feel proud to be a part of that solution.
